Vodafone Egypt has promoted May Yassin to Head of Corporate Affairs, expanding her leadership responsibilities across corporate communications, sustainability, public relations and the company’s social-impact activities.
The appointment marks another step in Yassin’s more than 12-year career with Vodafone, during which she has held several senior roles across communications, sustainable business and corporate engagement.
In her new role, Yassin will oversee four key areas: Vodafone Egypt Foundation, Sustainable Business, Public Relations and External Communications, bringing several of the company’s corporate affairs functions under her leadership.
Yassin joined Vodafone in 2014 and has since built extensive experience across corporate communications, brand strategy, sustainability and stakeholder engagement.
Before taking on the Head of Corporate Affairs position, she served as Head of External Communications and Sustainable Business from August 2023 to August 2026. Earlier, she was Head of Sustainable Business and Secretary General of the Vodafone Egypt Foundation between 2022 and 2023.
Her career at Vodafone has also included work on employer-brand development, digital communication platforms and internal engagement strategies, supporting talent attraction and broader corporate communications initiatives.
The new position gives Yassin a wider mandate covering Vodafone Egypt’s corporate positioning and its relationships with media, stakeholders and communities.
The promotion also brings together the company’s external communications and sustainability functions with its public relations and foundation activities, reflecting a more integrated approach to corporate affairs.
Yassin’s appointment as Head of Corporate Affairs represents the latest stage of her long-term progression within Vodafone Egypt and strengthens the company’s leadership across communications, sustainability and social impact.
