eToro Expands AI Investment Services with New ChatGPT, Claude and Grok Integrations

Global trading and investment platform eToro has introduced a new series of artificial intelligence integrations connecting investors' accounts with ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and Grok Bot, expanding its digital financial services and strengthening its focus on AI-powered investment technology.

The new connectors, announced on October 8, 2026, allow investors to access their portfolio information through compatible AI assistants, creating a more integrated experience between financial accounts and conversational artificial intelligence platforms.

Developed using the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the technology enables connections between eToro accounts and supported AI services without requiring programming skills or API credentials.

The integrations provide AI assistants with access to relevant account information, including investment holdings, positions, balances and performance data, subject to permissions selected by the user.

This allows investors to conduct portfolio research and review account information through conversational interfaces rather than manually transferring financial data between applications.

A central feature of the launch is the ability for users to control the level of access granted to third-party AI services. Investors can choose read-only functionality for research and analysis or enable additional capabilities that allow proposed account actions where supported.

eToro requires investors to review and approve proposed actions, while account funding and withdrawals remain within the company's own platform. Users can also suspend or disconnect the integrations whenever they choose.

Yoni Assia, Co-Founder and CEO of eToro, positioned the launch as part of the company's transition toward investment services that combine human decision-making with artificial intelligence.

The company believes AI assistants are becoming increasingly important tools for financial research, making direct connections between investment accounts and AI platforms a natural extension of digital investing services.

The launch follows growing investor interest in artificial intelligence. According to eToro's Retail Investor Beat research, 56% of surveyed retail investors currently use or would consider using AI tools to support investment selection or portfolio adjustments.

The survey included 11,000 investors across 13 countries and was conducted in August 2026, providing insight into the adoption of AI-powered investment technology.

Guy Barkat, Director of API Partnerships at eToro, highlighted the role of account connectivity in allowing investors to access more personalized financial information while maintaining transparency and control over their investments.

The company has made its connectors accessible through selected AI platform directories, with additional availability planned. Users of other compatible applications can establish custom connections using eToro's setup instructions.

The new services are subject to platform capabilities and jurisdictional restrictions. They are currently unavailable to customers in the United States, Australia and Singapore.

The introduction of these integrations comes as financial technology companies increasingly invest in artificial intelligence to improve digital services, automate information processing and offer more personalized customer experiences.

For eToro, the launch builds on its existing AI initiatives and expands the role of third-party technology platforms within its investment ecosystem.

The development illustrates a broader transformation in financial technology, as investment providers explore ways to connect traditional brokerage services with AI assistants capable of processing financial information and supporting more efficient decision-making.

As AI becomes more deeply embedded in consumer financial services, integrations between investment platforms and conversational technology are expected to become an increasingly important area of innovation and competition.
