PIMCO has strengthened its investment leadership team with the appointment of Lotfi Karoui as Managing Director and Multi-Asset Credit Strategist.
In his new role, Karoui will focus on shaping PIMCO’s global multi-asset credit strategy, contributing to portfolio construction, macro and credit views, and investment positioning across public and private credit markets. He will work closely with portfolio managers and investment committees to support asset allocation decisions for clients worldwide.
Karoui brings extensive experience in credit markets, asset allocation, and macroeconomic research. Prior to joining PIMCO, he held senior roles where he was responsible for developing credit strategies across market cycles, advising institutional investors, and navigating complex global market environments. His background combines deep analytical expertise with a strong understanding of risk management and portfolio optimization.
