Felix Oegerli brings more than 30 years of senior leadership experience in the financial services industry, with deep expertise across capital markets, sales and trading, and balance sheet management. His extensive background in both global investment banking and Swiss financial institutions positions him well to support Leonteq’s strategic priorities and long-term governance.
Oegerli retired from Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB) in May 2025, concluding more than 11 years with the institution as Head of Trading, Sales and Capital Markets. In this role, he was responsible for a broad range of trading and capital markets activities, playing a central role in shaping ZKB’s market-facing strategy. Between 2009 and 2014, he served as Head of Cash Collateral Trading & Management, overseeing the bank’s liquidity management, short-term interest rate activities, and prime finance operations.
Prior to joining ZKB, Oegerli was the Chief Executive Officer of International Financial Business Solutions, a securities finance and collateral management software company he founded in 1999. Under his leadership, the firm developed specialised solutions serving global financial institutions, reflecting his strong entrepreneurial track record alongside his institutional experience.
Earlier in his career, Oegerli spent 21 years at UBS, where he held several senior global roles. These included Global Head of Prime Brokerage and Deputy Global Head of Securities Lending and Repo, positions that placed him at the forefront of global financing markets and client-driven capital markets solutions.
His nomination as Chairman underscores Leonteq’s focus on strong governance, capital markets expertise, and experienced leadership as the firm continues to evolve in a complex regulatory and market environment. With his broad international perspective and deep industry knowledge, Felix Oegerli is expected to provide valuable strategic guidance and oversight to Leonteq’s Board and executive leadership team.
