CFI Financial Group has appointed Federico Cirulli as Chairman of the Board, marking a significant leadership transition as the global online trading provider enters its next phase of growth and institutional development. The appointment was announced on September 2, 2026.
Cirulli was already part of CFI’s Board of Directors, having joined as an independent member in November 2025. His elevation to Chairman comes as the group continues expanding internationally and strengthening its governance structure.
Cirulli brings more than two decades of leadership experience across regulated brokerage, asset management and financial markets.
He currently serves as CEO of Atlantide Asset Management and previously held senior executive positions including CEO of Swissquote Ltd UK and CEO of ActivTrades Ltd. His career has also included senior roles at CMC Markets UK, giving him broad experience across brokerage operations, regulation, market expansion and product development.
His expertise spans corporate governance, M&A, capital markets strategy, risk management and digital transformation.
As part of the leadership transition, CFI Co-Founders Hisham Mansour and Eduardo Fakhoury will move from their respective positions as Chairman and Vice Chairman to become Non-Executive Directors of the group.
The move follows a broader restructuring of CFI’s senior leadership, including the appointment of Ziad Melhem as Group Chief Executive Officer in June 2025 and the addition of new independent directors later that year.
CFI said the changes reflect its evolution toward a more institutional and scalable organization as its international footprint and business operations continue to expand.
Cirulli’s appointment as Chairman of the Board places an experienced brokerage executive at the head of CFI’s governance structure as the group focuses on global expansion, innovation and long-term growth.
