With more than 18 years of experience across technology, telecommunications and enterprise IT, Marwa Gamal ElSherbiney has built a career around one central theme: turning complex transformation into measurable business impact.
Today, she works as a Strategic Programs & Transformation Consultant, bringing together technical expertise, program leadership and a strong understanding of how organizations evolve in fast-changing environments.
Her professional journey has taken her across Egypt, Europe and the Gulf, with experience at major international organizations including Orange Business Services, Alcatel-Lucent, Vodafone and e& UAE.
From Engineering to Enterprise Transformation
Marwa began her career with a background in Communications and Electronics Engineering, developing her early experience in service delivery and solution engineering.
Over time, her career expanded beyond the technical side of the industry into enterprise program management, digital transformation and large-scale strategic initiatives.
That progression allowed her to combine an engineer’s attention to detail with a broader business perspective, positioning her to lead projects involving multiple teams, markets and functions.
At e& UAE, Marwa took responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of major initiatives including Device-as-a-Service and Digital Marketplace programs.
She also managed a Netcracker BSS digital transformation program, a multi-million-dollar initiative involving more than 20 resources across both business and technology functions.
The role reflected the type of work that has shaped much of her career: coordinating complex stakeholders while maintaining focus on delivery, quality and long-term business objectives.
Building Quality and Operational Excellence at Vodafone
Before her work at e& UAE, Marwa held senior responsibilities at VOIS – Vodafone Intelligent Solutions, where she worked as an Enterprise Program Lead and Team Manager.
Among her notable achievements was leading the quality assurance program that supported Vodafone’s ISO 9001:2015 certification for its global business service desks.
The achievement was publicly recognized by LRQA in 2022, highlighting the importance of strong quality frameworks in large-scale global operations.
Her experience at Vodafone further strengthened her expertise in program governance, operational excellence and cross-functional leadership.
Leadership Beyond Technology
While technology and transformation remain central to Marwa’s professional background, her work has also increasingly focused on people, workplace culture and leadership.
In 2025, she was honored at the TechUp Women Awards, held at The Greek Campus in Cairo, where Engineerex recognized her contributions to promoting inclusivity and supporting more female-friendly working environments.
She is also an ICAgile-certified practitioner, with experience in Agile delivery and facilitation, reinforcing her focus on adaptable leadership and collaborative ways of working.
Marwa is additionally a member of Young Arab Leaders (YAL) UAE, a not-for-profit network established in 2004 under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Through its work, the organization supports Arab youth across education, entrepreneurship and leadership development.

Based in Dubai and bilingual in Arabic and English, Marwa has developed a professional career that crosses industries, markets and cultures.

Away from her professional responsibilities, Marwa is also the mother of two children—a 14-year-old daughter and a nine-year-old son—whom she describes as an important source of motivation in her life.
