LoopFX has integrated its institutional FX liquidity network with FXall, LSEG’s multi-dealer foreign exchange trading platform, expanding access to its liquidity pool for institutional market participants.
The integration enables FXall’s global client base, including institutional asset managers and banks, to access LoopFX directly through their existing FX trading workflows without moving to a separate platform.
LoopFX operates a liquidity network designed for large institutional FX transactions, allowing asset managers and banks to identify and match offsetting trading interest while limiting information leakage and reducing potential market impact.
By connecting LoopFX with FXall, LSEG is expanding the range of liquidity and execution options available to institutional clients using the platform.
Blair Hawthorne, Founder and CEO of LoopFX, said the integration represents an important step in broadening institutional access to the company’s liquidity network. According to LoopFX, more than 80% of institutional FX participants can now access its network through its existing connectivity partners.
Simon Jones, Head of Product and Liquidity at LSEG FX, said the collaboration is aimed at improving execution outcomes for FXall clients while expanding the execution choices available to institutional customers.
The FXall integration adds to LoopFX’s existing connectivity with institutional trading platforms including FX Connect, FlexTrade and FactSet, as the company continues embedding its liquidity network into the trading systems already used by asset managers and banks.
LoopFX and LSEG also plan to explore additional functionality, including deeper integration of LoopFX into automated FX workflows.
