Daman Markets has appointed Srijan Katyal as Chief Commercial Officer, adding a senior trading-industry executive to its leadership team as the UAE-based broker continues expanding its commercial operations.
Katyal joins Daman Markets after approximately 11 years at ADSS, where he most recently served as Global Head of Strategy & Trading Services, a role he had held since 2022. His background spans trading services, commercial strategy and regional financial markets.
The appointment has also been reflected in Daman Markets’ own public communications. A recent company post identified Katyal as Chief Commercial Officer alongside Director of Research & Education Habib Akiki during a Daman Markets seminar focused on market intelligence and partnerships.
Daman Markets operates from Dubai and is regulated by the UAE’s Capital Market Authority under a Category 1 licence, allowing it to act as a trading broker for OTC derivatives and currencies in the spot market.
The brokerage launched in 2023 and is part of the wider Daman financial-services ecosystem. Its offering focuses on leveraged trading across forex and CFDs, with the company continuing to develop its technology, market access and regional presence.
Katyal’s appointment adds further senior commercial experience to the broker’s leadership as Daman Markets develops its position across the UAE and wider GCC trading market.
