Sky Links Capital Group has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Hormoz Faryar as Managing Director, as the financial services group moves to accelerate its institutional business and international expansion.
Faryar will be based in Dubai and will focus on business development, institutional client relationships and the company's strategic expansion across key global markets.
He joins Sky Links Capital after serving as Managing Director of Institutional Sales at ATFX MENA, bringing more than 25 years of experience in institutional foreign exchange trading, sales and financial markets.
His career includes senior roles at several major financial institutions and brokerage groups. Faryar previously worked as Vice President – AES FX Sales at Credit Suisse, Global Head of Institutional Sales at Equiti Group and Head of Institutional Sales at ADSS.
His expertise includes electronic FX trading, algorithmic execution, FX options, trading infrastructure and institutional solutions.
Sky Links Capital Co-founder and CEO Daniel Takieddine said Faryar's experience in developing FX and multi-asset businesses across both regional and international markets would support the group's institutional growth strategy.
The appointment forms part of Sky Links Capital's wider effort to expand its institutional division and strengthen relationships with professional investors and asset managers as the group develops its presence across international financial markets.
Faryar said he intends to use his experience in institutional trading and sales to support the company's next phase of growth and develop solutions tailored to institutional market participants.
