Toluna Appoints Amy Fenton as CEO, Succeeding Founder Frédéric Charles Petit

Toluna, a global consumer insights and market research technology company, has appointed Amy Fenton as Chief Executive Officer, effective October 15, 2026, marking a leadership transition as the business enters its next stage of development.

Fenton succeeds company founder Frédéric Charles Petit, who has led Toluna for 25 years. Petit will remain involved with the business as a Board member, Senior Advisor and shareholder, supporting continuity during the transition.

The appointment concludes a planned succession process announced earlier in October and overseen by the company's Board of Directors.

Fenton brings more than 30 years of experience across the consumer insights, market research and analytics industries, having held senior leadership positions at several major international organizations.

She joins Toluna from MarketCast, where she served as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors, overseeing operations, consumer insights and analytics.

Before MarketCast, Fenton held senior executive positions at Kantar, including Chief Client Officer for North America, and at Ipsos, where she served as Chief Client Officer and Chief Marketing Officer for North America.

Earlier in her career, she spent approximately 25 years at Nielsen, working across global and regional leadership roles in North America, Europe and Latin America. She began her professional career at Procter & Gamble.

Toluna Chairman Bruce Haymes said Fenton's experience in the insights industry, combined with her knowledge of technology-driven business transformation, makes her well positioned to lead the company.

The leadership change comes as consumer insights companies increasingly integrate artificial intelligence, automation and advanced analytics into their research platforms, responding to demand for faster and more actionable market intelligence.

Toluna has continued developing technology-enabled research solutions intended to help businesses understand consumer behavior, evaluate products and improve commercial decision-making.

Fenton's appointment is expected to support the company's strategy of expanding its technology capabilities while strengthening relationships with clients across international markets.

The transition also marks a significant moment for Toluna as its founder moves from day-to-day executive leadership into an advisory and governance role after more than two decades at the company's helm.
