Mohsin Siddiqui Appointed as Chief Operating Officer | Wahed

New York-based Islamic fintech company Wahed has recently announced the appointment of Mohsin Siddiqui as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). This strategic move aims to drive the company's global business operations and facilitate its regional expansion.

Prior to joining Wahed, Mohsin served as the Chief Revenue Officer at UK-based RegTech company ComplyAdvantage from 2020 to 2023. During his tenure, he successfully led the company's revenue growth objectives following its Series-C funding round. Mohsin's career began at OANDA, a retail foreign exchange and CFDs broker based in Canada, where he held the positions of Chief Customer Officer and Managing Director. At OANDA, he played a pivotal role in expanding the company's presence in the US and Canadian markets, as well as spearheading its entry into several APAC markets. It is noteworthy that ComplyAdvantage is led by another former OANDA executive, Vatsa Narasimha.

In his new role as COO at Wahed, Mohsin Siddiqui will be responsible for overseeing the company's growth objectives, driving the expansion of its product suite, and focusing on building a cutting-edge technology platform. These efforts are aimed at fulfilling Wahed's mission of providing financial inclusion through Shari’ah-compliant products, with the ultimate goal of reaching the vast Muslim population worldwide, which exceeds 2 billion.

Mohsin's appointment underscores Wahed's commitment to expanding its reach and offering innovative solutions to meet the financial needs of its members within the Islamic community.
